  • Empire Direct can deliver goods to UK mainland addresses and some off-shore locations such as Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Orkney Isles, Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles.
  • Empire Direct does not deliver to addresses outside of the UK.
  • Your order will usually be processed and your DVD player delivered to a UK mainland address within two to three working days after the payment has been received. Deliveries to remote locations or off-shore addresses may take longer.
  • Standard delivery charges can be found on the individual product description pages.
  • If you want to specify a morning or Saturday delivery, or your DVD player is being delivered to an off-shore or remote address (such as the Scottish Highlands) you may need to pay an additional delivery charge.

  • You can cancel your order within 7 working days of delivery if you change your mind. However, you must contact Empire Direct first and ask for a returns number. The returns authorisation number will be valid for 14 days.
  • You must ensure that you return your DVD player in the original packaging, together with any accessories or free gifts that came with it. If you forget to include an accessory that came with the product, a standard cost will be deducted from your refund. For example, a missing remote control will cost you £52.50.
  • If you have opened the packaging, you must have done so without damaging it and must re-pack it the way it was when you got it.
  • You must return your DVD player to Empire Direct within 14 days of delivery in order to qualify for a refund.
  • It’s worth noting that you can’t return DVDs or goods that were made to your specifications if you change your mind.
  • If your DVD player is damaged when it arrives you must note this on the carrier’s consignment note and inform Empire Direct within 7 days of delivery.
  • If something is missing from your order you should note it on the consignment note on delivery and inform Empire Direct within 10 days of delivery.
